Harrogate Car Free Day
Tuesday 22nd September 2009
Last year we achieved over 2,400 cars less cars on Harrogate roads.
Help us make it more than 5,000 this year!
Once again we had a fabulous response from local residents and businesses in supporting Harrogate Car Free Day. It is always hard to quantity what impact such an event has, but going by the personal stories we keep hearing, we know many made a special effort that day not to use their car. To them and the many others who supported the day, we would like give our massive thanks.
Hopefully leaving the car at home will become a regular habit and in doing so make Harrogate a safer, healthier and more environmentally-friendly town.
